Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Poporio account and associated data either inside the app or by sending a deletion request from this page.
Delete directly in the app
- Open Poporio and sign in.
- Open Profile, then Settings.
- Select Delete my account.
- Type DELETE and confirm Delete forever.
The app sends an authenticated deletion request. If it succeeds, you are signed out and the deletion is permanent.
Request deletion without the app
Send the request from the email address associated with your Poporio account. Include the display name if known. We may ask for additional information solely to verify account ownership.
If the button does not open your email application, write to support@poporio.com with the subject “Poporio account deletion request”.
Data deleted
Deletion removes the active account and associated Poporio data, including:
- account profile, avatar and authentication record;
- watchlists, favorites, ratings, notes and episode progress;
- friend relationships, posts, comments, reactions and reports;
- direct messages and uploaded social or message media;
- quiz participation, scores and rankings linked to the account; and
- push-notification device tokens.
Limited retention
Deletion cannot be undone. Limited security records or residual provider backups may remain only where required for fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution or a protected backup cycle. Such records are not retained as an active Poporio profile and are removed or anonymized when the applicable obligation or backup period ends.
